Meet the HBOS Employee Equity Solutions Management Team.
Richard Nelson – Managing Director
Richard joined HBOS in 1980, and was appointed as Managing Director of HBOS Employee Equity Solutions in 2005, having worked in the employee share plan arena for 15 years. Prior to this, Richard had gained experience as a Senior Relationship Manager, and had subsequently progressed to Head of Sales and Marketing. One of Richard's main successes has been leading the team through the merger of Halifax ESS with Mourant Equity Compensation Services, to create HBOS EES, which was completed in September 2006.
Eddie Gray – Service Delivery Director

Eddie has worked across a number of business areas since joining HBOS in 2000, including working as Head of Sales Operations in the retail branch network. More recently, he has undertaken the role of Managing Director in our Partnerships and Affinities business. Eddie is responsible for service delivery across Halifax, Jersey and Purley.
Julian Foster – Commercial Director
Julian joined Halifax in 1990 and has focused on employee share plans for the last 14 years. He has undertaken a wide variety of roles within HBOS such as Senior Relationship Manager; Operations Manager; Manager, Strategic Projects & Share Schemes; and Head of Specialist Services. Julian has been responsible for the business technology strategy since 2000 and developed the Share Incentive Plan and Executive systems in Halifax. Julian also established Halifax Corporate Trustees Limited, which he still serves as a Director of. He has extensive technical knowledge and he has consulted on our UK and Global Plan Implementations. Julian is responsible for legal/regulatory compliance and managing operational risk within the business. In addition to this, he is responsible for our Change Management function, Finance and IT teams and for commercial development of our business.
Iain Williamson – Sales and Marketing Director
Iain is responsible for implementing and achieving the sales and marketing strategy for EES with the assistance of a highly effective and motivated relationship and marketing team. Iain brings with him a vast amount of experience, having held a number of senior management positions across the HBOS Group over the past twenty years. His previous role was Director of Key Account Relationships with Birmingham Midshires.
Heidi Wilson – Head of Offshore
Heidi joined Mourant Equity Compensation Solutions in 1988 as Head of the in-house legal team, and subsequently undertook the position of Client Director. Heidi now has overall responsibility for the HBOS EES offshore business, and is based in Jersey. She achieved a degree in Law from Kings College, London University and then trained and qualified as an English solicitor with a leading city law firm. She then advised on corporate and trusts law in private practice with a large firm in Jersey, before joining Mourant. Heidi is a member of The Law Society, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Institute of Directors
